Overview

Delta Risk, a San Antonio-based provider of SOC-as-a-Service and managed security services, announced an expanded partnership with VMware Carbon Black, a provider of cloud-delivered, next-generation endpoint security. The integration connects Delta Risk’s ActiveEye security platform with the VMware Carbon Black product suite, enabling managed detection and response (MDR), threat hunting, and 24×7 monitoring for organizations of all sizes.

What the Integration Delivers

The enhanced integration between ActiveEye and VMware Carbon Black Cloud solutions targets four operational outcomes:

  • Detection and Response: Analytics, orchestration, and automation are used to prioritize threats and reduce time-to-response.
  • Executive Reporting via KPIs: Key Performance Indicators are surfaced in the ActiveEye portal, giving security teams and board-level stakeholders a consistent view of program progress.
  • Unified Data View: A single pane of glass provides access to data and reports across multiple security controls, with a stated focus on customer experience.
  • Streamlined Onboarding: Deep platform knowledge across the Carbon Black ecosystem is intended to reduce time-to-value for new customers and managed service providers (MSPs).

Supported VMware Carbon Black Products

Delta Risk’s Managed Detection and Response coverage extends across the full VMware Carbon Black product line, including:

  • VMware Carbon Black Cloud™
  • VMware Carbon Black Cloud™ Endpoint Standard
  • VMware Carbon Black Cloud™ Enterprise EDR
  • VMware Carbon Black Cloud™ Audit and Remediation
  • VMware Carbon Black Cloud™ Managed Detection
  • VMware Carbon Black App Control
  • VMware Carbon Black EDR (on-premises)

Partner and Customer Impact

According to Victor Baez, Senior Director of WW Channel for VMware Carbon Black, the integration has enabled incident response (IR) partners and MSPs to deliver 24×7 post-breach monitoring. He noted that dozens of IR monitoring engagements were being managed continuously through ActiveEye within a 90-day period at the time of the announcement.

Jason Peoples, Director of Partnerships at Delta Risk, highlighted the scale of the ActiveEye platform, stating that it processes more than six billion events daily, with automation resolving more than 95 percent of those events. The intent is to reduce alert fatigue for security teams and allow analysts to focus on genuine threats rather than false positives.

About the ActiveEye Platform

ActiveEye is Delta Risk’s proprietary security operations platform, built around Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) principles. The platform provides a co-managed model, meaning customers retain visibility into SOC activities through the ActiveEye Portal rather than handing off security operations entirely. This approach is designed to give organizations of any size access to enterprise-grade threat detection and response capabilities without requiring a fully staffed in-house security operations center.

About Delta Risk

Delta Risk delivers Security Operations Center (SOC)-as-a-Service and broader managed security services, covering endpoint, network, and cloud security threat monitoring and response on a 24×7 basis. The company positions its co-managed model — combining its expert SOC team with the customer-facing ActiveEye Portal — as an accessible path for organizations seeking a modern security operations posture without fully outsourcing control.
