Adobe recently announced the debut of new abilities in Adobe Experience Manager, which is a part of Adobe Experience Cloud. The company is introducing its industry-first Single Page Application (SPA) Editor that enables front-end developers as well as experience authors to preview an SPA, view the JavaScript, and edit content, including video, text, and images. Thanks to this new ability, SPA content can be edited and managed in-context, helping marketing teams to easily preview content and cut down time spent on editing content.

Adobe added that developers will be able to continue using their front-end development environment and add SPAs into Experience Manager. This empowers developers with the freedom and flexibility to build engaging experiences while expanding the content creation and management responsibilities. This results in faster collaboration with front-end developer counterparts and developers can utilize the tools they’re familiar with the flexibility to co-manage all or parts of an SPA with marketing.

The announcement also includes Cloud Manager, a feature for Experience Manager that delivers agility and flexibility to DevOps by effortlessly managing Experience Manager cloud environments from a user-friendly dashboard. This cloud service encompasses Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) abilities to optimize code deployment across staging and production environments, along with security validation, performance testing, and code inspection features. Since the code can be deployed on-demand or on a schedule, these abilities are able to help improve DevOps efficiency while ensuring quality standards are adhered to.

Final item on the list – Dynamic Media, Adobe’s new Smart Imaging functionality, automatically determines the type of device as well as available bandwidth and reduces images’ file size in accordance to that information. This results in swift and seamless loading without loss of visual fidelity, thus making it easier for IT teams responsible for streamlining asset delivery speeds and administering responsive behaviour accordingly.
