Source:-https://www.crn.com.au/

Ingram Micro has added backup-as-a-service provider Veeam Software to its cloud marketplace in Australia and New Zealand.

The distie has had Veeam on its books for 12 years and is now making Veeam’s two biggest products, Backup for Office 365 and Backup Essentials Universal License, available through its online platform.

This will mean partners have simplified access to the products with procurement, provisioning, billing, maintenance, and support through a single panel.

“We are excited to take Veeam, our trusted partner of over a decade, on the journey to the cloud marketplace with us. Just as Veeam’s solutions have continued to innovate over the years, Ingram Micro aims to reach new channel partners through an equally innovative distribution platform,” Ingram Micro Australia cloud services director Trent Gomersall said.

“Adding Veeam to the Ingram Micro solution set delivers an immediate and powerful advantage to our resellers, providing access to one of the leaders in Backup solutions that deliver Modern Data Protection.”

The products will also be available to Ingram partners in Singapore, Hong Kong and Malaysia later this year.

“We are thrilled to bring two of our core backup solutions to Ingram Micro’s cloud marketplace, and look forward to expanding our reach to more partners than ever before with the help of Ingram Micro’s extensive and knowledgeable reseller team,” Veeam APJ channels, cloud and service provider senior director Belinda Jurisic said.

“Veeam Backup for Microsoft Office 365 enables local businesses to eliminate the risk of losing access and control over their Office 365 data so that their information is always protected and accessible.

“To complement this, businesses can also purchase Veeam Universal License (VUL), a simple, flexible ‘per workload’ license for protecting all workloads across on-premises, hybrid and multi-cloud environments.”

Source:-https://www.pymnts.com/ CloudBlue, which is owned by Ingram Micro, announced its acquisition of Harmony Business Systems in a press release. Unofficial […]

Source:-https://www.pymnts.com/

CloudBlue, which is owned by Ingram Micro, announced its acquisition of Harmony Business Systems in a press release.

Unofficial word of a likely deal has circulated for months. Channele2e reported in November that investor chatter had Ingram Micro and Harmony, a provider of a professional services automation platform, working on a deal.

“[HarmonyPSA’s] comprehensive professional services automation (PSA) and revenue management software is now a complement to CloudBlue’s portfolio of services designed to simplify and accelerate resellers’ transition to an Everything-as-a-Service business,” the release stated.

Nimesh Davé, president of CloudBlue and Ingram Micro Cloud, said in the release that the CloudBlue’s acquisition of Harmony is a response to CloudBlue’s managed service provider (MSP) partners’ need to grow a cloud services business with less risk.

“We are delighted to have the Harmony team join our CloudBlue community as we expand our technology offerings,” he said in the release.

Speaking to CRN Network, Davé said: “We want to continue to give our partner customers a choice to integrate and operate on. As we have grown our ecosystem, we’ve seen that most of our partners around the globe are not using PSA tools. PSA tools are great. We are trying to reach [small- to medium-sized business (SMB)] partners to give them CRM, invoice, billing, and other services. We’re reacting to those partners who tell us they need these kind of tools.”

CloudBlue is based in Irvine, California. Harmony is based in the United Kingdom and sells the HarmonyPSA product. Harmony Business Systems “will independently operate HarmonyPSA,” according to the release.

Harmony was launched more than 10 years ago, has customers in 15 countries and works across multiple languages, the release stated. It “combines CRM, ticketing, storefront, lead generation, assisted sales, and vendor competency and incentive programs into a single solution as a quote to cash and accounting system.”

Harmony Business Systems Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer Steve Powell said in the release: “By working together, we will dramatically scale our customer base and expand our offering across various marketplaces.”

Source:-https://channellife.com.au Ingram Micro Cloud has formed a strategic collaboration with nOps, a provider of cloud management software-as-a-service (SaaS) and Amazon […]

Source:-https://channellife.com.au

Ingram Micro Cloud has formed a strategic collaboration with nOps, a provider of cloud management software-as-a-service (SaaS) and Amazon Web Services (AWS) Advanced Technology Partner.

The alliance expands Ingram Micro’s offering of tools for reseller partners and managed service providers (MSPs) designed to help build an efficient, secure, and high-performing AWS infrastructure for their applications and workloads.

Ingram Micro Cloud, an AWS Advanced Consulting Partner and AWS Distributor, claims to be ‘dedicated to accelerating the growth of AWS Consulting and Technology Partners globally.’

Leveraging the nOps platform, Ingram Micro partners should be able to better maintain their customers’ AWS environments by ensuring continuous alignment with AWS Well-Architected Framework guidelines.

The addition of nOps offerings is expected to help Ingram Micro partners more efficiently execute AWS Well-Architected Reviews designed to identify risk, provide cost-optimisation insights and root cause analysis, and deliver fact-based assessments and remediation proposals to customers that drive higher project win rates.

“Our guiding mission at Ingram Micro Cloud is to provide our channel partners with access to the industry’s largest and most robust cloud services portfolio, and nOps was an outstanding addition,” says Ingram Micro Cloud cloud channel sales vice president Victor Baez.

“We anticipate that, working with nOps, we can better empower our partners to build next-generation MSP practices that drive greater value and revenue opportunities for our channel partners.”

“nOps is thrilled to team with Ingram Micro. We share mutual excitement and expectations of scaling nOps’ success in helping AWS Consulting Partners and AWS MSP Partners grow their AWS practice while delivering outstanding support to customers. Our cloud management platform and Ingram Micro’s combination of scale and commitment to partner enablement is a winning combination,” says nOps CEO and founder JT Giri.

Kaizen Technology Partners CEO Dao Jensen adds, “Given our 20+ years of experience as results-driven Cloud technology experts, we’ve worked strategically with both Ingram Micro and nOps and are honored to see their collaboration bring more value to our AWS practice. As an AWS Advanced Consulting Partner, we are dedicated to solving our customers’ needs first and look forward to streamlining the way we help them optimise their cloud infrastructure and drive success.”
