Source:-https://www.businesswire.com/ EL PARQUE, Mexico–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Ingram Micro announced today the launch of Amazon Web Services (AWS) on the Ingram Micro Mexico […]

Source:-https://www.businesswire.com/

EL PARQUE, Mexico–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Ingram Micro announced today the launch of Amazon Web Services (AWS) on the Ingram Micro Mexico Cloud Marketplace and will be distributing a full range of AWS solutions to its reseller network in Mexico, bolstering the offering of the world’s most comprehensive and broadly adopted set of cloud solutions.

Ingram Micro Cloud, an Advanced AWS Consulting Partner and AWS Distributor, announced its global Strategic Collaboration Agreement (SCA) with AWS in March. One of the central aims of the agreement is to drive the geographic reach and footprint of AWS and its partners. As part of this global expansion, Ingram Micro Cloud is now delivering a complete portfolio of AWS solutions to resellers in Mexico, as well as its recent launches in Australia and New Zealand. More global expansions will be announced in 2021. Ingram Micro’s large network of partners will see new opportunities to meet customer needs and expand their IaaS business as a result of the SCA with AWS.

José Antonio Morales, AWS Partner Lead for Latin America, affirmed that the alliance with Ingram Micro is strategic in driving both companies’ digital transformation, both technologically and mentally. “Both organizations decided to strengthen our alliance and jointly invest in Mexico so that our partners can have access to better programs and benefits,” he said. “In addition to understanding our customer-centric culture, they will be able to certify their teams and specialize in our 200+ solutions.”

“For over 12 years, Ingram Micro has been in the cloud business and it has been complemented by acquisitions and developed powerful and easy-to-use solutions. AWS comes to complement our offer of infrastructure and powerful strategic relationships which will allow us to develop different solutions to perform in different markets,” added Luis Férez, VP & CCE of Ingram Micro Mexico.

The Ingram Micro team and AWS kicked off a virtual launch event on May 4 to present exclusive services and offerings for local partners interested in building and scaling their AWS offerings. Executives from AWS and Ingram Micro talked about how the addition of these new services will help boost partner capabilities and allow them to deliver comprehensive solutions to solve unique business problems. The event garnered an overwhelming response and had more than double the amount of expected attendees.

Additionally, the collaboration will see both organizations work together to bolster Ingram Micro Cloud’s current skills and offerings, as well as develop new resources to support channel partners in managing end customers. Ingram Micro Cloud currently provides an AWS Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE) team with over 100+ AWS certifications, AWS Professional and Managed Services, AWS Well-Architected services, AWS Operations and Billing Services, and more.

Ingram Micro Cloud also covers a wide range of partner enablement and support initiatives to help AWS partners build a healthy AWS practice through partner programs like AWS Illuminate and ISV Activate, which provide end-to-end engagement models for Ingram Micro Cloud to enable SI Partners and ISVs through their journey in the cloud.

Ingram Micro Cloud

Ingram Micro Cloud brings together innovators and problem solvers to help the world accomplish more. It facilitates and manages the cloud’s complex digital value chain—all powered by CloudBlue technology. Ingram Micro Cloud operates in 64 countries with over 55,000 reseller partners, and its Cloud Marketplace serves 14 million seats, offering more than 120 cloud solutions. With unmatched global reach, easy access to automated go-to-market and integration tools, deep technical expertise, and a curated selection of scalable SaaS and IaaS solutions, Ingram Micro Cloud helps vendors, resellers and managed service providers by offering More as a Service.

Source:-https://www.pymnts.com/ CloudBlue, which is owned by Ingram Micro, announced its acquisition of Harmony Business Systems in a press release. Unofficial […]

Source:-https://www.pymnts.com/

CloudBlue, which is owned by Ingram Micro, announced its acquisition of Harmony Business Systems in a press release.

Unofficial word of a likely deal has circulated for months. Channele2e reported in November that investor chatter had Ingram Micro and Harmony, a provider of a professional services automation platform, working on a deal.

“[HarmonyPSA’s] comprehensive professional services automation (PSA) and revenue management software is now a complement to CloudBlue’s portfolio of services designed to simplify and accelerate resellers’ transition to an Everything-as-a-Service business,” the release stated.

Nimesh Davé, president of CloudBlue and Ingram Micro Cloud, said in the release that the CloudBlue’s acquisition of Harmony is a response to CloudBlue’s managed service provider (MSP) partners’ need to grow a cloud services business with less risk.

“We are delighted to have the Harmony team join our CloudBlue community as we expand our technology offerings,” he said in the release.

Speaking to CRN Network, Davé said: “We want to continue to give our partner customers a choice to integrate and operate on. As we have grown our ecosystem, we’ve seen that most of our partners around the globe are not using PSA tools. PSA tools are great. We are trying to reach [small- to medium-sized business (SMB)] partners to give them CRM, invoice, billing, and other services. We’re reacting to those partners who tell us they need these kind of tools.”

CloudBlue is based in Irvine, California. Harmony is based in the United Kingdom and sells the HarmonyPSA product. Harmony Business Systems “will independently operate HarmonyPSA,” according to the release.

Harmony was launched more than 10 years ago, has customers in 15 countries and works across multiple languages, the release stated. It “combines CRM, ticketing, storefront, lead generation, assisted sales, and vendor competency and incentive programs into a single solution as a quote to cash and accounting system.”

Harmony Business Systems Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer Steve Powell said in the release: “By working together, we will dramatically scale our customer base and expand our offering across various marketplaces.”

Source:-https://www.businesswire.com/

IRVINE, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Ingram Micro Cloud, an Amazon Web Services (AWS) Advanced Consulting Partner and AWS Distributor, today announced a new global Strategic Collaboration Agreement (SCA) with AWS. This multi-year, joint investment is geared towards accelerating the growth of AWS Partners worldwide through Ingram Micro Cloud.

During this multi-year, global agreement, Ingram Micro Cloud and AWS will accelerate initiatives to increase reach and footprint in existing geographic markets and expand into new geographic markets across EMEA, LATAM, and ASEAN countries. Ingram Micro Cloud plans to scale AWS adoption with emerging ISVs, while driving greater adoption of AWS solutions with SMB customers through the Ingram Micro Cloud Marketplace.

Ingram Micro Cloud expects to continue broadening relationships with Emerging and Growth System Integrator (SI) and Value-added Reseller (VAR) partners for AWS through its partner enablement and support initiatives to help AWS Partners build a healthy AWS practice leveraging Ingram Micro Cloud’s 9-step IaaS Practice Building methodology. These initiatives cover a wide range of sales enablement, practice development, technical enablement, and business and financial support services.

“In addition to further strengthening our strategic relationship with AWS, this global agreement underscores the critical imperative of the IaaS business for Ingram Micro Cloud,” said Nimesh Dave, president of Ingram Micro Cloud. “We are thrilled to collaborate with AWS in bringing our skills, services, products, and overall channel knowledge to help our partners find success with AWS at an accelerated pace.”

“We are delighted to deepen our collaboration with Ingram Micro Cloud,” said Doug Yeum, Head of Global Partner Organization at AWS. “Through this agreement and with Ingram Micro Cloud’s expanding AWS Practice and global network of channel partners, more small and medium businesses and ISVs will be able to leverage AWS services to help solve business problems and accelerate growth through digital transformation.”

Additionally, the collaboration will see both organizations work together to bolster Ingram Micro Cloud’s current skills and offerings, as well as develop new resources to support channel partners in managing end customers. Ingram Micro Cloud currently provides an AWS Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE) team with over 100+ AWS certifications, AWS Professional and Managed Services, AWS Well-Architected services, Ingram’s Cloud Marketplace with access to automated go to market tools, partner programs like AWS Illuminate, AWS Operations and Billing Services, and more.

“Ingram Micro Cloud has played a key role in building and scaling our AWS business,” said Matt Huff, Principal and President at Redapt. “We don’t normally work with traditional distribution but Ingram Micro Cloud’s ability to align with us strategically and support us with our customers has made cloud distribution an absolutely critical function in the success of our AWS business.”
