But in order to successfully implement DevOps a company, and its IT team, must be ready for a complete culture shift, and a change in ideas around roles and responsibilities.

Implementing a DevOps approach requires both developers and operators to change how they view their roles — and to recognize the vital part they each play. Both teams will need to undertake employee training about DevOps and the effective way to use it to its highest potential.
